Our server Sam was absolutely exceptional really friendly welcoming gentleman, a real pleasure to be around. On top of that the food was out of this world the steak and everything was cooked to perfection. We’re here a lot and had Sam on a couple of occasions this one in specific was my dads 62nd birthday and just by listening to us chatting while he was bringing drinks to the table etc he took that information and got my dad a lovely desert on the house without any of us knowing. That’s me again Sam you made out day!

To the manageress, (Later found out to be Saffron.) was greeted very politely well mannered young lady call saffron at the front desk, then seated in a well thoughtful area, as disabled table with radiator and close to loo as the asked when seat how far. and she discreetly informed me. I was left a soon ask if I would like a drink and I ask for alcohol free and water. After drinks had arrived, Shortly asked if I was ready to order which I did with the lady’s help Shereen was very pleasant thought out my interactions. She read parts of the Menu as I was clear struggling to read. I order 7oz steak medium rare, and chips Which was lovely and very well cooked by Adam( as I asked on way out of door) My dessert was fantastic apple pie and custard With another alcohol free Cocktail. If I was a food critic then I would happily have stay or visit another of you restaurants, to find out you owned by Tobys carvery’s, well I was blown away with the service from all staff on shift, there interactions with the well mixture or clientele was out of this world in my opinion and a first for me. Went to Miller and Carter Cramond Brig Edinburgh on the 28th Feb eith family for a meal. From start to finish the staff were polite. Our meal i have to say was amazing, we all had starters, ranging from garlic bread to grilled prawns. 3 of the party (there were 4 of us) had steaks which were all cooked perfectly. The 3 that had steaks loved the quater lettuce with our preferences on dressings...they were lush. My nephew is a picky eater (no healthy stuff at all) had the burger...just the burger on the burger bun...no tomato, no lettuce, no sauce...just the burger ! He said it was the best burger ever. Our serve Sam what can I say, you made our night with your cheeky banter, Sam explained the steak experience very well and recommend how our steaks should be cooked. My nephew had a desert ( no one else had room) the double belgium chocolate brownie...its the quietest I've seen him for a while LOL. He wouldn't even let me taste it. So thank you Sam, and all the staff at Miller and Carter Cramond Brig for making our family night out a lovely relaxed evening. 😀

We were served by Max who was a friendly waiter and nothing was too much trouble. 2 of us had the lamb, it was delicious and cooked perfectly. The rest of the party had the rump steak which was also delicious. We were celebrating a birthday and the dessert was a lovely touch

Beautiful meal with my partner at are local steak house. Have been before and was hesitant to come back however the new head chef adam has really turned it around! Loving the new menu aswel guys. Top service from tayeeba very attentive and good attention to detail. Made are night special. The hosts sam and elsa.also very warming and welcoming. Will be back for sure! It was my wife's birthday. She's a vegetarian. First time visit to Miller & Carter. Our host and waitress Lora was brilliant. Quick to supply us with drinks before dinner. And very happy to proffer advice on the menu and guidance on how a particular steak should be cooked. Lara was also able to assist Linda with her vegetarian options. We had a main and pudding. The food arrived promptly and was served piping hot on hot plates. I had a 30 day aged ribeye steak with french fries which was really really good. The steak was perfectly cooked and was melt in your mouth. The salad garnish on the side was lovely and crisp as well as refreshing. Linda really enjoyed her burger. It was lovely and moist. It also came with a heap of french fries. I had ice cream for pudding and my wife banofee pie. Both of which were enjoyable. Overall we had an excellent meal and experience. Thankyou Lora and the team at Miller & Carter.

We had a lovely time, the food was absolutely delicious. The service was really good from the minute we arrived. Our steak expert Max was excellent, very attentive and helpful throughout our visit. We could not fault anything. We will be back again soon.
